This program is designed to reactivate the city's current vacant housing stock. Property owners receive grant funds for essential renovations to transform vacant houses into homes.
Interested participants can apply online at: www.eastbuffalodevelopment.og/vrp-apply. Applicants that participate in a pre-site visit will sore higher.

Applications with the highest scores will be invited to participate. Round 1 will award at least 20 units. Any remaining funds will be awarded in a second round.

PRIVATE HOMESTEAD – 20 LANGMEYER AVENUE – 200 linear feet of new dog ear fencing across three properties, new gutters and porch repair. Served to represent property owner in negotiating accessing funds with local Community Development Funding Institute. Guidelines typically allowed for only one property at a time per scope of work. Property owner requested our support in “making the case” for modifying the program guidelines.
The success from our representation allowed the property owner to continue her efforts of beautifying her properties, simultaneously.
